This site sets no cookies unless you accept analytics. Your preferences (theme, number format, currency) and calculation history are stored in your browser's localStorage, which is not a cookie and is never sent to any server.
If you accept, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set the first-party cookies listed below. If you decline, they are never loaded.
Third-Party Services
The following external services are used and may set their own cookies or process your IP address:
- frankfurter.app — exchange rate API. Does not set cookies.
- api.qrserver.com — QR code generation. May process your IP address.
- Google Analytics 4 — audience measurement. Loaded only after you accept. Sets the
_gaand_ga_<id>cookies. - Microsoft Clarity — usage analytics, heatmaps and session replay. Loaded only after you accept. Sets the
_clckand_clskcookies. - Cloudflare Web Analytics — page-view measurement. Sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it runs without consent.
Analytics and Consent
Analytics is denied by default through Google Consent Mode v2. The Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity scripts are not loaded at all until you accept: refusing means no request is ever made to them.
Cookies set once you accept:

This site does not currently show advertising. If Google AdSense is enabled in the future, ad consent will be collected through a Google-certified Consent Management Platform integrated with IAB TCF v2.2, as Google requires for the EEA and the UK, and this page will be updated before any ad is served.
How to Clear Local Data
To remove all locally stored data: open your browser settings → Privacy/Security → Clear site data for vatestimator.com. This will remove your preferences and calculation history.
